SNL

Just watched the SNL spoof of the debate. I don't know who played Bush and Kerry, but they can't hold a candle to Darryl Hammond and Will Ferrell as Bush and Gore in 2000. Anyway, Bush clearly got the worst of it, mostly by having him endlessly repeat the words, "It's hard."

Ditto. Although I was happy to see Darryl Hammond replay his Bill Clinton role, and the Carville guy was pretty convincing. Bush did get the worst of it, but they got some good hits on Kerry as a flip-flopper and for using his hands too much.

Can't wait to see the next SNL. If there's any justice in the world, Kerry will be a laughing stock by next Saturday.

I saw the debate spoof as well. It was kind of lame. I don't know who this new guy is who's impersonating President Bush, but I liked Will Ferrell much better. I wonder if they'll do a spoof of the vice presidential debates as well.

Poor palooka! now Gallup, with its Republican over-sampling, has got the candidates almost even. Don't blow a gasket in the next few days.

Newsweek didn't show any change in in the percentage of Republicans, Dems, and independents who support Bush. All that changed is the number of Dems and Republicans, and it changed drastically. I'm not sure if Gallup suffers from the same problem.

Rasmussen, however, has Kerry with a statistically meaningless ONE POINT bounce.

Oh, and I wonder how that "bounce" will last when it's been realized Kerry cheated in the debate? Follow the link I posted above.
