Keyes on the 17th Amendment

Alan Keyes now wants to repeal the 17th Amendment that calls for the direct election of U.S. Senators and go back to the previous method of having them chosen by the state legislatures. Given how his campaign is shaping up, this might be his only chance to get in the Senate.
