The Obama campaign has announced that Jim Messina has been named the campaign's chief of staff. No word yet on what role, if any, Kenny Loggins will play in the campaign. I suspect this move is in response to McCain's embrace of Abba, as both campaigns fight for the crucial 70's rock demographic.
