Turnout
Looking beyond Hillary Clinton's surprise win tonight, New Hampshire, like Iowa, saw a surge in Democratic turnout. All the votes aren't in yet, but it looks like about 260,000 people voted in in the Democratic primary. That compares to only about 220,000 on the Republican side. That's not the 2:1 turnout differential you saw in Iowa, but it's probably the first time when both parties had competitive primaries that Democratic turnout exceeded Republican turnout.
