The Paradox of Representation: Racial Gerrymandering and Minority Interests in Congress (Princeton University Press 1997) and
The Republican South : Democratization and Partisan Change (Princeton University Press 2004). David has travelled to Germany, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Montenegro and Spain to speak about U.S. elections for the State Department.
